Immersion Assembly

On Monday the first day back at school Pt England had a Immersion assembly in the

hall. We had Team 1 Team 2  Team 3  Team 4  and Team 5 Teachers Do a movie or a play

about Art.

Staff: The staff made a painting about Pt England's new logo.

Team 1: They did a movie about different painters/artists from around the

world.

Team 2: They made a movie about tearing the teachers into different shapes

and colors.

Team 3: Made a movie about different colors on a sheet and made a sheet of different

colors then painted a rainbow on the sheet.

Team 4:They did a movie about the meet on their computers and did a

piece of art.

Team 5:They did a play about an art gallery and different kinds of art.

   

Assembly

This morning is the start of another term, the best of all term 3.

Our Topic for this term is A World Of Difference, In Assembly all teachers did a Video or a
Performance. Mr Burt, our school principal talked about his hats and where they come from.

And Mr J talked about a british Kilt and the patents and what they mean.

TEAM 1, Team one is learning how other countries get to school, What they eat, and what they do.     

TEAM 2, Did a Video about Dora The Explorer. And learning about different countries and how

they

travel.

TEAM 3, Did an amazing Video of the amazing race that went all around the world from

place to place, like the Colacem, the Great wall of china, the statue of liberate, and Giza

to the Pyramids.

TEAM 4, Did a Video about where different foods come from, like sushi and it comes from

Japan and a croissant comes from Austria.

Team 5, Talked about a legend The myth of Sina and the eel tells the tale of how the first

coconut tree came to the islands. Because the eel got too demanding so the cousin cut

off the eel's head and it made a coconut tree.

And that is a bit about the assembly.

     

Mr burt

This morning in assembly pt england congratulated Mr Burt with his reward from the queen.

A man from Manaiakalani speaked to Mr Burt to congratulate him.

The tobys mum spoke on  behalf of the school then Aj spoke And freedom. 

Then team 5 sang a samoan song for Mr Burt

Then the hole school stood a sang a mouri song then when they finished the 

song the year 8s and some year 7s did the haka for Mr Burt When the haka was finished 

Mr burt said a couple of things then we did the duffy certificates then the lunch box heroes 

then the assembly was finished.
