ART EXPO

 Today all Pt england kids and teachers walked around the school for the art expo. I was one of the helpers with my friend Pifeleti and room 17. We walked around the school looking at peoples art that they made for this day. We walked through every class and saw really cool paintings and art. One of the paintings I liked was the pacifica art from the year 6 & 5s then when we walked through my block it was cool because I got to see my own and what it looked like on display. Then we walked the year 1s back to their class then said by then left, full of happiness and joy.

Today in Assembly Pt England Got given Lots of Duffy books for all the kids and a special one for a family. All class got a box of books Donated by Dominion Constructors. Immersion Assembly

On Monday the first day back at school Pt England had a Immersion assembly in the

hall. We had Team 1 Team 2  Team 3  Team 4  and Team 5 Teachers Do a movie or a play

about Art.

Staff: The staff made a painting about Pt England's new logo.

Team 1: They did a movie about different painters/artists from around the

world.

Team 2: They made a movie about tearing the teachers into different shapes

and colors.

CROSS COUNTRY

 On Friday the 11th of September pt England school had a cross country day and I theater day the ladies came into our class and did a play she said that she clocked every game including fortnite and I said you cant clock fortnite. There were 5 pieces. The Bag that is Tee's piece, the HAT, that is jacks piece, the Beanie, which is Dave's piece, the ID which is Bryan piece, and the scarf which is Maraea piece.

All the kids and teachers wore there house colors. The colors are Red, Blue,

Yellow and Green. My color is green, after a while it was the yr 8s turn we lined

up behind the rope well the teachers checked us for a band and if we had a

band we were running 2 laps and I ran 2 laps.

Well I was running. I saw Reece and ran with him for the whole 2 laps, At the end

we came a tie For 11th or 12th place. That is the end of my little writing about

Cross Country.

Yr 8 Camp

 On Wednesday the 5th of August the year 8s went to Thames, KVCC.

  My experience was shooting a Bow and Arrow, and Shooting an Air rifle at a target.

And Getting to drive a go kart and the fastest time was George with 33seconds.

Whare Tapa Wha

 

Every day I do and need to do these things to be fit and healthy and positive.

What Would I Do If I Found $50.

If I found $50/ I would keep it. And why because Why not No one would know and if they

did I would Ask Some Questions about the $50 to make sure they weren’t lying. But if there is no one

around I'll take it. Some of the questions I would ask are

1: Where Did you lose it? 

So They were not lying

2: How Much is it?  

Because they could have lost $20/$10/$5/$2/$1.

And I would not tell them how much because they could just say

 “ya I lost that much money” and you could give it to the wrong person and

then someone might come up to you and say “have you seen $50” 

and what are you going to say.

3: And why wasn't it safe? 

Because If he or she had money wouldn't you look after it so you don't lose it.

If i had $50 I would keep it safe by… holding it in my hand or in my bag or pocket with

no holes and a zip.

What Is the Right thing to do?

The right thing to do is if there were people around i'll ask them have you lost any money

right now. And I would Give it to them. If they know then they say I can keep it I'll say no

because they might need it more than I do.

Does the way you found it change what you would do? How? Why?

Yes because if I found a bag with like money or other bad stuff in it I’ll take it straight to the police

station, because it could be stolen or Illegal.

TEAM 1, Team one is learning how other countries get to school, What they eat, and what they do.     

TEAM 2, Did a Video about Dora The Explorer. And learning about different countries and how

they

travel.

TEAM 3, Did an amazing Video of the amazing race that went all around the world from

place to place, like the Colacem, the Great wall of china, the statue of liberate, and Giza

to the Pyramids.

TEAM 4, Did a Video about where different foods come from, like sushi and it comes from

Japan and a croissant comes from Austria.

Team 5, Talked about a legend The myth of Sina and the eel tells the tale of how the first

coconut tree came to the islands. Because the eel got too demanding so the cousin cut

off the eel's head and it made a coconut tree.

JOSEPH PARKER

This morning Pt England had 2 special guests in assembly; his name is Joseph Parker and his sister
Elizabith parker. Joseph Parker is a height weight champion he talked about 2 things, the

1st thing was believe in yourself and the 2nd one was nothing beats hard work. 

Then our school principal talked about a sickness going through our school that makes you itch

a lot. and that is a little bit about what happend in assembly. and our school choir sang a matariki song for our school.

Mr burt

This morning in assembly pt england congratulated Mr Burt with his reward from the queen.

A man from Manaiakalani speaked to Mr Burt to congratulate him.

The tobys mum spoke on  behalf of the school then Aj spoke And freedom. 

Then team 5 sang a samoan song for Mr Burt

Then the hole school stood a sang a mouri song then when they finished the 

song the year 8s and some year 7s did the haka for Mr Burt When the haka was finished 

Mr burt said a couple of things then we did the duffy certificates then the lunch box heroes 

then the assembly was finished.

One hot morning three girls and one boy were eating ice cream.

Their names were Sandy, Harpa, Rose, and Josh . Then the

younger one sandy groped here ice cream on the flaw.

Sandy was so angry when she dropped her ice cream, that

she went inside and grabbed $5 off her mum's bed and,

when she got outside she asked her friends if they wanted to

come find the ice cream man and they said yes. And off

they went.

After walking for half an hour they finally saw the ice cream

truck but it was about to take off so the girls and the boy

harried and hurried but could not catch up. That was the last

stop.

Rose knew she would never get your ice cream so they walked home.

Meanwhile sandys mum was about to leave for work when she saw

her money was missing then she went outside and there was an ice
cream cone on the ground, and she knew straight away what
happened so she went straight to the shop and bought 3 boxes

of ice cream. 

When the girls and the boy got home sandys mum surprised them

with lots and lots of ice cream and they ate and ate and ate the

ice cream.
